Living a Fulfilled Life with Christ at the Center
On my journey to reclaim my soul, I recognized the importance
of getting healthy, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
When we have those three components of our lives clicking,
we are unstoppable. It took me a long time to realize that
no amount of success, money or material possessions can bring
us happiness if we don’t have Christ in our lives.
When we commit our lives to Christ and really pray and ask for his guidance, he
always comes through for us. Maybe not in our time frame, and maybe not exactly
how we want it. But he always answers our prayers according to his timeframe and
according to his plan for us. Sometimes it is in our darkest hours that God let’s
us know just how he wants to use us, to work his plan for us through us. But we
have to trust him and give him the time and opportunity to work his plan for us!
I really believe that God wants us to use the precious gifts and talents that
he has blessed us with for his Glory. When we give God our time and put our complete
faith and trust in him, he showers us with blessings.
One of my favorite scriptures is Mathew
21:22 - “and whatever things you ask in prayer, believing,
and you will receive.” The greatest lifeline
we have is prayer. It is our means of staying connected to
the almighty. Whatever you want out of life, trust in God
and pray about it. Give him the opportunity to show you the
way. God will not leave us alone. When we are too weak to
stand, he will pick us up and carry us along the way.
So many of us get so caught up in trying to find success
that we lose sight of the things that really matter in our
lives. I am a living witness to the fact that the road to
success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure,
a loop called Confusion, speed
bumps called Friends, red lights
called Enemies, caution lights
called Family. You will have flats
called Jobs. But, if you have
a spare called Determination,
an engine called Perseverance,
insurance called Faith, and a
driver called Jesus, you will
make it to a place called Success.
Blessings to you!
